Hi everyone,

I need to turn off Advanced Inventory in QuickBooks but can’t find the option. Could someone walk me through the steps to disable this feature? I’m using QuickBooks Desktop, and I want to revert to standard inventory tracking. Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

To turn off Advanced Inventory in QB, follow these steps:

  1. Open QB and log in as an administrator.
  2. Go to the "Company" menu and select "Company Settings."
  3. Choose "Advanced Inventory Settings" under the "Items and Inventory" section.
  4. In the Advanced Inventory Settings window, uncheck the box for "Enable Advanced Inventory".
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes and close the window.
  6. Restart QB to ensure the changes take effect.

Note that turning off Advanced Inventory will remove any advanced features like barcode scanning and multiple location tracking. Ensure you back up your data before making changes.
