Is there a field in the pricebook where you can put in the date for the most recent price update? Most of our prices need to be updated weekly, so we are looking to mark somewhere the date of the last price update so we know to check on the current price or leave it if it was just updated.

@Emshultz There's not a place to notate it directly in the Pricebook. Might I suggest utilizing Task Management to assign it as a weekly task as an alternate solution?

There is a pricebook history tab, so you can see the previous version of the PB, as have a log of when it was updated last. Otherwise, if you're talking about pricing (not your costs) ask your CSM about dynamic pricing - then you'll never have to worry about updating your prices as they will be dynamically calculated for you 🙂

Are you familiar with the Vendor-Material Cost Export? If you get a new price sheet from your vendor or know the price changes, you can export this out from the pricebook section, use a VLOOKUP in Excel to update to the current vendor pricing, and then reimport and have your pricebook be updated. This does require you to make sure you have good vendor numbers on all your items in your pricebook but makes updating vendor costs a breeze. Sadly, we got very proficient at this the last couple of years 😞
