When we order parts from an approved estimate (requisition them) and then when we receive them in, in terms of what Service Titan links the job to, what is the difference in booking the job from the estimate as opposed to just adding an appointment to the job? Thanks!

Yes, that is correct, tech's Conversion rate does get the stat

Adding an appointment carries over money from the first job if you need a second day at the same location. Booking it from the sold estimate pulls it from the follow up folder under the sold estimates tab and links it to the original job.

Gotcha thanks, so it sounds like it doesn't affect any stats so far as for the techs conversion rate it just gives the option to complete the first first job and have a second one that is still linked to it?

adding an appointment is if you need to come back to complete the work on the current job. If your tech presents the customer with an estimate he can choose if the work will be performed now or at a later time. If they choose now they will automatically add the estimate directly to the invoice they are working on. If they choose at a later time it can be converted to its own job so that the job the tech is currently on can be closed at end of business day. Its more of a preference if your accounting department doesn't have strict protocols on when an invoice needs to be closed.
