Add a large watermark to estimates. Invoices and estimates look the same when sent to customers as a PDF. Our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) receive multiple calls daily because customers get confused between the documents. Customers mistake estimates as invoices and calls our CSRs, most times yelling because they believe they have been charged for an estimate. Adding a watermark to estimate will reduce these unessassary calls, save man-hours, and create a more efficient estimate process. Photos are attached of examples of what an estimate could look like.
