Our August Member Spotlight goes to @MadisonChicken. Madison is part of our Torch Network, she is a ServiceTitan Certified Administrator, and she’s a group leader for the Chimney Chat Group (Check out the Chimney Chat Group here)! If that doesn’t define a rockstar then I don’t know what does. She's very active in Community and she's always sharing her insight, it's much appreciated Madison. Thank you for being a long time valued Community member and a role model to other members in the Community. 😄
Madison also told me a little bit about herself. Let’s get to know her better.
Tell us a little bit about your background.
I started in the trades 2.5 years ago. I had never worked in the trades prior to that. And this is my first time in the chimney industry that's for sure. When I started we were using Fieldlocate as well as about 3 other programs to run the business day to day. About 2 months after I started we began implementing ServiceTitan. I dove head in to ServiceTitan even taking it home with me and adding appointments and customer information nightly. I wanted to have everything moved over to ServiceTitan as quickly as possible.
What motivated you to join the ServiceTitan Community and what are you hoping to get out of your experience here?
Whenever community became a thing Brandi was all over it. Brandi is one of our owners. She and I dove fully into community. I gain so much from my experience in community. Different insights, new updates, first opportunities, ideas, a true sense of community.
Any ServiceTitan feature that you’re a big fan of or couldn’t live without?
ServiceTitan Feature - So there are many features that I am partial to but my biggest feature would probably be the STCA program. This is a program built into ST that gives you so much extra knowledge on things you may not even know. I think it is so important to take advantage of this and so many other product features that ST has to offer. When you are paying for this service and they are giving you additional tools at no extra charge you should take full advantage.
Do you have any advice for new Community members?
I would say just dive in. Do not be scared to comment on everything. Give your 2 cents on any topic. Join all of the groups you can. Kudo everything you like. Go through and add ideas upvote ideas. Support your other trades with the community.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to hang out with my daughter. Go to amusement parks coach her sporting teams. I also like to Crrraaffttt. I make holiday wreaths and paint pours and all sorts of other fun things 🙂
Do you have a favorite dessert?
Ooooo I am a dessert fan!! I like almost every dessert there is. Honestly I love cheese cake a ton, I recently found out you can air fry oatmeal cream pies and then put ice cream on them! It's delicious.
