NEW IDEA!! Vacation Non-Job events schedule on your technicians' profile can be overlapped HELP!!!

If we schedule a tech to be on vacation it don't block the office from scheduling a job on the tech when they should be on vacation. and in the calendar it shows a vacation as a non job event witch is right, but than all the meal breaks clutter the schedule when you have nonjob events checked. I think vacation for techs should show different than non job events and it should block a tech from being scheduled on vacation.

Message from service tech=Now, I actually checked your case with the specialist team and we found that all the Non-Job events that you schedule on your technicians' profile can be overlapped with Job events. It's a general configuration of all the accounts and unfortunately, we can not change.

Schedule Vacation/Dr Appt

Start of work flow!

Go to the Dispatch board. Get to the day you want to schedule a tech off.

Hover over the technicians time you want time off and left click a gray box tagged new event will pop up.

Click the blue edit event button below.

Make sure you have the right tech selected on the right side on event page.

The top line above date and time needs to have the Techs name and a small describe like vacation or DR.

Always check the box Needs a Timesheet.

When you check the box a new dropdown box will pop up you will need to choose which one to select depends on the situation.

Then copy and paste the top line and past in description.

If all information looks right click the blue save button at the top.

Make sure it showed up on the dispatch board and the schedule.

End of work flow!

It would be nice if it had a pop up telling you so you don't schedule.
