Hello everyone. I'm curious if anyone compensates their office staff based on performance. If you do, what metrics do you use? Most importantly, what reporting systems are in place to ensure checks and balances?
I've noticed that many reports rely on employees to categorize their work, which may lead to skewed data. Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated!

This is something we have considered. I agree that some reports can seem misleading. Call volume differences can change things too (especially through the holidays). We currently have spiffs for memberships, but we haven't found a solid way to do a true performance-based pay structure... other than if we simply hired an inside sales person for follow ups on estimates.
