We are struggling with how to handle any pending jobs. i.e. A technician has requested another appointment, the parts are on order, maybe we need to wait for some weather to clear.
Since the invoices have items on them, we can't mark them as unassigned. Right now, they tend to just float at the end of the day as a reminder that we need something for the job and then dispatch has to manually move them. Is there a better practice for making sure jobs don't fall off the radar.

We use the "Hold" feature in Service Titan to manage requests that require follow-up or further action at a later date. When a part arrives or other necessary conditions are met, we update the status of the job from "Hold" to "Scheduled" after we call the customer to schedule the service. We also use the "Hold" feature to manage jobs that are affected by inclement weather or other external factors. When reviewing jobs on hold, you filter by the oldest date and follow up with suppliers or customers as needed to resolve any outstanding issues and move the job forward in the process. Usually any dropped ball is due to a breakdown of this process. Hope this helps.
