Hi team,
Is there a way for a marketing campaign to "stick" to a customer record by default but can be manually changed? We currently use both "Marketing Campaign" as well as "Lead Source" and "Lead Source Employee." We would like to be able to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by tracking the lifetime revenue associated with that campaign. As an example, if we have a Google PPC lead for a demand service call, I would like all subsequent jobs to be tied to that campaign unless manually changed. In that scenario, if the tech flips the service call to sales, the campaign should ideally remain as Google, with the lead source being Tech Lead and lead source employee the technician. This way we could run revenue reports on the campaign, lead source, or lead source employee to determine effectiveness. I hope that made sense. Thanks.

The Original Campaign and customer lifetime revenue are KPI's available in the "customer" reporting dataset, so you don't need to do anything special to track that. Its just a matter of pulling the right report. I'm also going to attach a couple of videos that I think you might find insightful

I agree with Richard here. Original Campaign and Lifetime Revenue on the Customers dataset sounds like ultimately what you’re looking for.
This will look at the campaign of the first booked job for that customer. In order to manually edit it (which I would caution against unless you’re changing it from an imported campaign type to an accurate campaign) you would need to edit the campaign on the original job. I haven’t tested to see if that updates in the reporting, but that would be my guess.
