Automated Processes

Working on process improvement within the company.
I'm looking to take the status of a job from start to finish in ST on a digital tracking board in the office.
So far, I'm seeing programs like Trello or
that will work to show the progress in real time.
What about the automated connector?
I'm seeing Zapier, Make and
I would love input from companies that have already done this.
If you're willing to share insight, send me a dm please.

I would recommend using the API developer app with Python or something you're comfortable using.   Chat GPT can be a valuable resource if you have a basic understanding.  We have been able to create a few generic auto-updating boards.  Can be a little glitchy but pretty nice pay-off once you get it going.  Took us a few months for our baseline setups and we don't have any programmers or strong IT backgrounds.  Lots of tweaks and fixes though so will need to have lots of patience.  Once you are able to pull the data we push to Excel and are working on ways to use other Microsoft programs like power automate (similar to Zapier).  We are still in the baby stages but having a good time, haha.

This is actually on my list of Zaps to create with Zapier. I haven't dived in yet but I'm certain it will be possible!
