We have our technicians use the mobile follow-up heavily, but unfortunately, if they get a hold of the customer and the customer agrees to move forward, there is no way for the technician to take a deposit. Currently, they have to call the office, get a new Follow-up job put on them, so they can call the customer back and then have a job to take payment over the phone. This requires a large inconvenience to our customers as well as being very time consuming and tedious. It would be nice if the technician could take a deposit over the phone in a PCI compliant manner after they mark an estimate as sold or be able to send a link to a customer with a deposit amount and have that deposit then apply to the customer record. The booking process of an additional job and then techs sometimes accidentally copying the estimates over to the new job causes so many problems and it seems like such a silly concept that the tech cant take the deposit right then and there over the phone when the customer agrees to move forward on the initial follow up call.

This would be huge, if its not compliant over the phone, at least let them (or the office) email or text a link to the customer with the deposit amount prefilled so it’s easier for the customer to pay
