Happy Holidays, Ladies!
I need to hire for 2 positions for our office. One will be a CSR role and the other will have additional responsibilities like collections, entering vendor invoices, overseeing our maintenance programs etc. while answering phones if necessary. What are titles that you've used for such roles? Do you have a generic job description that you use to place an ad in Betterteam or Zip Recruiter?
Looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance!

I was the Office Manager for 9 years (the only person in the office doing the behind the scenes while answering phones and dispatching) In November I was allowed to hire someone to help with phones and ran into the same issue. Originally suggested as "Receptionist". That sounds so blah. So we offered it as CSR/Dispatcher, but again it is so bland. We went with "Office Support Specialist" to make it sound cooler. Me...I am not the Director of Operations as the official job title...but everyone still calls me "The Bowman's Babysitter" haha

Customer or Client Coordinator is another good one for someone handling more roles than "just" your average CSR load. That being considered, a "behind office doors" title alternative to that is Chaos Coordinator 😉😆

We like to add a bit of fun into the title right? I don't have any at the moment but will definitely think about it and get back to you 🙂

We named ours CEP's (Customer Experience Professional). I might have to update that to Customer Experience Rockstar. I love that title!

A role like that could be more of an "office support staff" role. That could encompass responsibilities throughout the office including memberships, A/R, inventory and customer service .

Thank you! That's a good one, I like that title a lot.
Thanks for responding. 🙂

Hey There! Michelle with Pink Callers - Happy Holidays!!
The title we use for our team of CSR's is "Customer Service Rockstar" it rings with our applicants and it also helps set the tone for expectations. We need a rockstar on the phone with our clients who is able to- X Y Z. I also have gotten some great results with ADs that lead with what they will be receiving from us and clear on what is expected from them in the specific role they are applying for.

Thanks for your response, Michelle. I do like that title and I'll definitely use it.
Any suggestions for the other role which includes collections, entering vendor invoices, overseeing our maintenance programs etc.?
