Does anyone know if the system will auto generate purchase order numbers instead of using job numbers. I am looking to be able to give a random number for the technicians to purchase items needed for a job but I don't want to use the job number.
Patti, you can reach out to your CSM and ask them to adjust the "Purchase order number seed" configuration. Just let them know which number you'd like to start your purchase orders at, and it will start generation from there instead of associating with the job number.

Thank you for that information. But will I be able to tie to to a particular job afterwards ?
I am trying to stop the techs from going to the supply house and purchasing what ever they want with out asking and obtaining a po first. I don't want it to be the job number because that will be to easy for them to figure out.
